Daniel Brattain

Marketing Intern

As a degree candidate with a finance major at the University of North Carolina – Charlotte, Daniel leaped at the chance to join Alloy Wealth for an internship in June of 2021. He’s been a valued member of our team ever since. Known for his punctuality, Daniel spends a typical day doing everything he can to take the weight off the advisory support staff’s shoulders, whatever that might entail. He prides himself on his ability to complete tasks in a timely manner, and he’s not afraid to ask questions if he’s not quite sure about something. His favorite part of the job is the people. From the financial advisors to the clients themselves, he appreciates the family culture at Alloy Wealth and how the advisors build relationships over time. He is proud to be part of a team that works to ensure every person who comes through the door gets the help and financial knowledge they need.

Before joining the team at Alloy, Daniel worked as an associate at his local grocery store and has an Associate of Arts degree from Stanly Community College (SCC). When not in the office or class, he can be found playing or watching sports, typically basketball, or going out with friends. He also enjoys playing video games when staying in for the night, and taking a break from his studies.

When: This is a two-night master class offered September 19 & September 21 from 6:30pm - 8:00pm each night.

The top reason baby boomers and pre-retirees attend this class is to become informed and learn things that they didn’t know about regarding retirement planning. Many of the retirement planning strategies utilized by our parents have grown outdated and may no longer be the optimal application for those seeking to retire today or in the next few years. This course compares and contrasts the older retirement paradigms versus what exists today. You will learn how to help insulate yourself from the risks of rising taxes, low interest rates, and become aware of and help avoid common retirement planning mistakes.
